Thank you! Well I only have two lenses right now. The standard that came with my T2i (which sucks), and a Canon 50mm f1.4 prime lens. I use my 50mm all the time. The photos are more crisp and I can have more blur in the background. It is also better at night and diminished light. My next lens I’m going to get is a 28mm prime lens. I’m a firm believer in the use of prime lenses. ha. I think photos turn out so much better. And the Canon prime lenses have some of the best glass in them.

I do enjoy your photos. But you do some REALLY nice post-processing. I am impressed. My photoshop skills are minimal.
Thank you! I learn almost everything I know about Photoshop from Youtube and the Flickr photoshop group. And the rest I just experiment with. I think of Photoshop as an experimental lab. I do any and everything to photos until I get something I like.

Thank you! that means a lot. I haven’t been doing photography long. I learned simply by doing it. I go on Flickr a lot to get mix ideas and find cool new techniques. As far as editing goes, I use photoshop, and Youtube has taught me almost everything I know about photoshop. I’ll see a cool technique from flickr, I’ll google it, and then watch a tutorial on Youtube. But I’ll mix things up a little bit so that I’m not simply copying someone’s ideas.

how much is the lens you have?
Yeah, that always seems to happen. When you get something cool, they come out with something better.
The lens I have is about $350 on Amazon.
There is a cheaper version that is a 50mm f1.8 that is about $100.

Thank you! I’m glad you like them. I do use photoshop for the ones that have 3 of me. I just take 3 poses, layer the photos on top of each other, and then I erase until the bottom ones show through. after that I just style them with other stuff in photoshop.
I’m glad you liked them though, I want to do more of those when I come up with more ideas.
