Typical prayer of a student before finals:
“Lord, help me for this exam that I did not study for. Give me supernatural knowledge that I could have obtained if I had simply paid attention. Give me a wonderful grade to make up for all those late paper deductions when I was under the influence of the spirit of severe procrastination. Give me wisdom, because I’m obviously not wise. If you do this for me, I’ll get up an hour early this Sunday to make it to Sunday School. Thank you Jesus, you are awesome.”
